Robo fair is meant to inspire students 8 to 18 to be interested in STEM Related activities or degrees. It is made to teach people about robotics and the Wonders of first. At Robo Fair there will be a multitude of events catering any type of person or personality. These events include
• Robot racing – student will be given a few minutes to get used to the controls and compete against other people. Each session will take around 15 minutes and have 5 minutes in between.
• Lego competition where people will be given a task to complete where a robot will be built and programmed by the student.
• Students will use VEX kits and in a two hour period create and design their own unique robots for a competition.
• A programming booth will create the opportunity for people with both beginning and advanced understandings of code to improve upon their skill set.

Where: Linn-Mar Highschool, 3111 10th St, Marion, IA 52302. The event will be held in the South commons, near door 13.

When: May 19, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
